We are excited to both share our information with you and invite you to join us in supporting the MGFA vision of A World Without MG!

MG’s 20th Annual Hoon Open Golf Outing on Saturday, August 14 was a great success! The day of the event turned out to be a nice summer day with some clouds to keep us all from burning.  The best was NO RAIN!  Pigeon Creek Golf Course in West Olive, Michigan was a fantastic host. 

With a shotgun start our 20 golf teams (2 more than last year) were off to the tees!  The teams were “scrambling” through each hole.  Three holes had a tee shot contest and several holes had other contests  Cash prizes, a Chicken Out catered lunch, and a 50/50 raffle followed the scramble. 

The event was a great success thanks to our participants, corporate sponsors and in-kind donations.  We raised over $8,000, up more than $3,000 from last year.  Wow! 

Great thanks to all who helped make this event such a success.  Your donations will help us to serve our patients and their supporters through our information and support meetings, patient medication assistance, literature, newsletters and research.
